3D METAL PRINTING

Additive manufacturing: 3d printing in metal

Corsa 3D offers innovative metal 3D printing services thanks to Triton Dominant, the latest generation MoldJet 3D printer.

By partnering with DEDEM, the reference point in Italy for the commercialisation of Triton technologies, CORSA3D becomes the national reference point for all metal 3D printing operations.

This synergy aims to create a center of excellence for the development and production of metal components.

Triton Dominant is specially designed and engineered for additive manufacturing of metals.

The new DOMINANT combines fine metal injection molding (MIM) powder capability with production volume capability, meeting the latest needs of the metal industry and enabling the production of complex parts while reducing costs and production time.

Tritone Moldjet

Triton MoldJet represents an advanced, powder-free Additive Manufacturing (AM) technology that is ideal for the fabrication of metal parts at the industrial level in terms of both size and speed.

This technology is optimized for creating parts with intricate geometric structures, offering high density and excellent mechanical properties. It also enables the simultaneous production of several parts with different geometries and uses within a single production run.

Triton Dominant features

  • The simultaneous production method boasts an exceptional production capacity, exceeding 1,600 cc per hour, enabling the creation of a large volume of parts per work shift. Its high print resolution and remarkable accuracy facilitate the creation of parts with complex, high-density geometries, ensuring finely machined details and a smooth, finished surface. This process is suitable for manufacturing parts of varying sizes, from small parts as small as 2 mm to sizable parts over 400 mm.
  • This technology supports a wide variety of metal materials and alloys, including titanium, stainless steels, tool steels, copper alloys, and others.
  • It implements a real-time control and verification system to ensure the quality of each individual layer during the printing process.
  • Enables smooth industrial handling: ‘green’ (non-sintered) parts allow a smooth transition to the sintering stage without compromising part quality. Up to 99% of parts are successfully sintered.
  • Features an automatic level correction mechanism to ensure accurate and uniform production.
  • Operates in a completely dust-free environment, using materials supplied through sealed cartridges, making it ideal for industrial environments that require high standards of cleanliness and safety.
